COVID-19 Vaccine Mandatory for Domestic Air Travel in Pakistan from 1st Aug 2021

National Command and Control Center (NCOC) Pakistan, has announced in a tweet that COVID-19 vaccination will be mandatory for air travel in Pakistan.

In a recent tweet on 24th July, 2021 made in Urdu by NCOC said: "From 1st August (2021), it is mandatory to have Corona Vaccination Certificate. To avoid any inconvenience, get your self vaccinated and obtain the certificate."

In another circular (reference HQCAA/1089/501/ATNR) by Civil Aviation of Pakistan, mentioned and clarified some more detail about this travel restriction. The major points are as follows:

• The vaccination restriction applies on all Pakistani nationals having age 18 years and above
• Partially vaccinated passengers are acceptable for travelling
• Pakistani nationals having proof of vaccination abroad
• Patients clinically advised against vaccination owing to risk factors and holding a doctor's certificate toe said effect
